Fun at the Gorge

Rob's group had adventures at the gorge today. We all got very wet. Ryan helped Ms French to get up the gorge, Crazy Kirsty slid down the wet slope, Iggy told us all about tarantulas, Chrissie braved her blisters with a smile and Cameron tried to look like a commando with mud all over his face. Lulu, Charlotte and Molly were keeping us all amused with their stories. Wenmo and Lily both put their heads under the waterfall and got a lovely shower. Great fun was had by all. Having a super time.

Thanks for these photos, Mrs Brown!

Today at Lagganlia

Wednesday 11 October

Last night we were visitied by Fraser the Inverness Capoeria expert. Everyone joined in. Jay Yule shared her skills with all! Chicken Curry and Chocolate Crispy enjoyed by all for tea.
Miriam Hunsley was fantastic on the gorge helping others, particularly Miss P. Matthew, Jamie, Jack and Jenny enjoying climbing up and sliding down everyone was very wet but warm and cosy in their own furry romper suits.
Malcolm was covered in mud cycling through puddles of dirt with Anna Hyde and Johnnie Whiteman.
Cameron, Kirsty, Lily, Chrissie and Molly all climbed to the top of the 60 foot tree. Fingers crossed that Mr McKenna and Ruben, Ali, Bec, Lin, Yu Jing, Haseeb, Ayden, Declan and Sam, return from their windy hill walk before tea.

Day three ... and it rains ... and rains

Hi all,

Day three dawned windy and wet, but unperturbed the happy campers set forth! After a hearty breakfast they donned their furry 'teddy-bear' suits and waterproofs and marched undaunted towards their activities at the gorge. Miriam Hunsley was a star throughout the activity, helping a water-logged Miss P. Jenny and Carley took every opportunity to get as wet as possible. Jamie and Jack couldn't help but slide along on their bottoms and Rheo smiled her way through it! Matthew Sharpe had more difficulties staying upright on the way to the Gorge than when in it.
On the Mountain bikes, the weather conditions helped Anna and Zoe get as muddy they could and Jonny and Finlay were hilarious on the tandem!
On the tree climb, nearly everyone had a go and most of the group reached the top! Iggy sped up the tree in record speed challenging Cameron to the title of speedy spiderman. Kirsty, Molly, Lily and Chrissie made it to the top of the tree despite it swaying in the 50 mile an hour wind! Ryan and Wenmo kept everyone on the tree safe by pulling hard on the rope.
The teachers are looking forward to tonight's Macaroni Cheese and some of Ms Sellar's home made sausage rolls (no realy!?!).
Love to one and all!
